Become a Museum Volunteer
Once the children's museum opens, there will be opportunities to share in the exciting work of opening the eyes of children to the wonderful world of learning. The museum will need exhibit docents, school group guides, volunteers in the gift shop and volunteers for special events. Please see updated volunteer applications below.
Become a Member
Join us as a member or as a best friend and supporter. As a best friend of the Museum, you’ll help to provide essential operating support, and receive a reciprocal family membership as well. A portion of your payment may be tax deductible.
Become an Ambassador
An Ambassador for the Mississippi Children's Museum volunteers to explore ways in his or her community to tell the story of the museum.
- The Museum Development Committee has a speakers bureau ready to go to any town and to any group that may want to learn more about the children's museum.

Become a Patron
A Patron volunteers to host or co-host a fundraising event for friends, family, business associates or community groups. The Museum Development Committee is looking for volunteers in communities throughout the state who will help us share the story of MCM with those who might be able to help through financial support.
- The Museum Development Committee provides support, covers mailing costs, and develops a program for the event.
